L'Osteria Essen in Essen

Grande Pizza should be taken literally, because if you like giant pizzas (diameter approx. 40cm) "eats" right here. You should only be informed about this before ordering; a little too much for my needs.

I would have liked to order from you after I had a flyer from you in the mailbox today (L'Osteria Lotteria). Unfortunately, the voucher code does not work. The contact form (miscellaneous) on the website does not respond either, so it was not possible to contact us directly.

Very tasty. Finally found a delicious pizza.

One of our absolute favorite shops, we have celebrated several birthdays or meetings here. The pizza cannot be beat huge and the concept of having the pizza half and half topped is great! I've always found the pasta portions to be somewhat clear. The salad a la Casa has a sensational dressing that I have never eaten anywhere before. There's a dessert on the house for birthdays. The selection of drinks is very large and not cheap (especially the water) but the service is always unbeatable and friendly. There are many different corners in the restaurant from large table tables to cozy corners for a date for two.

The pizza is unbeatable, the rest of the menu is disproportionately expensive and in terms of taste a prime example of the below-average cuisine of the system catering. The interior is cozy and the toilets are very clean. There is a large courtyard that is great for sitting, especially in summer. Not entirely unimportant: the team in Rüttenscheid can tap. The pilsner always tastes good. The waiters are all friendly, but sometimes a bit blown and it has happened quite often that orders have been lost. When that happens, L’Osteria is accommodating and occasionally donates a drink. Those who are in a hurry should probably go somewhere else, here the Italian sense of time dominates. Usually the shop is full. Reservations are advisable. Unfortunately, online reservations often only worked sporadically in the past; I recommend calling. Reservations cannot be made outside.

The food was very tasty and very tastefully implemented. The service was very relaxed and courteous, the hygiene concept well implemented. The only thing that bothered me was the slightly too high price for my salad, which I wasn't even really full of. For a nice evening with friends, I would still come back and try another dish.

We know the Osteria from other cities: lively, great service And pizza is always great. Such a thin floor, it is also a bit bigger

Usual L'Osteria quality, which we like anyway, because the pizzas are just perfect. In addition, the restaurant in Essen scores with a terrace in the backyard, which is just perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and simply having a relaxed meal. Despite the waiting time, the service was good, as the waiter didn't lose sight of us and led us to a seat as quickly as possible, even though we were there without a reservation.

Great service, the team tries hard and takes great care of the guests! Food and wine delicious too and the prices are absolutely fair!

Absolutely attentive and friendly service. Pizzas are huge, thin and very, very tasty. Prices are very very reasonable. Only the lasagna is not sparkling and very dry. Nevertheless, we would love to come back.

i liked the giant pizza. i didnt see a pizza like that before. unfortunately in japan the pizza are not so good. I took the pizza with ham, cheese and champignons. very tasty

Favorite pizza place in Essen. Huge pizza's, thin crust, proper toppings, tasty and affordable. Been here already a few times and will keep on coming back for more :)

The food came fast and was good quality. The pasta seemed a bit expensive at just under 10 € for a portion that was a bit too small, the pizza, however, is big enough to cover a pool. The taste was the pizza in the good upper midfield, price / performance ratio was very good. If you visit this place I recommend the pizza, or pasta if you are not hungry. There is a star deduction because we had to wait a long time (20 minutes) despite repeated requests for the bill, which is annoying for lunch break.

Beautiful place and delicious food, especially the huge pizzas. Would definitely visit again if I ever come back to Essen.

From the ambience very nicely done. The staff is really friendly too. It was very busy and we had to wait about 30 minutes alone for our drinks .... The pizza was delicious and it was great that you can make from a quasi 2 and both halves can occupy different. The antipasti dish for about 11 € was unfortunately disappointing and not very spectacular ...

Food is okay but the customer service is incredibly bad. The food takes forever to come and then the staff proceed to argue with customers. Wont be coming back and will recommend to my friends that they dont either.
